It has recently been transformed into a contemporary boutique hotel by the Xavier Claramunt Studio of Architecture and Interior Design, filled with state-of-the-art facilities. The hotel is located a short walk from the city’s heart of Plaça Catalunya (also the centre of the city’s transport network), La Rambla and the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter. The hotel lies on the same street as 2 of the most important examples of the work of Catalan modernist architect, Antoni Gaudí: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. The city’s Cathedral is only 5 minutes away from the hotel, whilst good local transport networks run to other places of interest (Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Museo Picasso, the Olympic Port, Montjuic and Tibidabo).
