AREA INFORMATION
We are located in the city centre approximately 15 minutes walk from the harbor and 25 minutes from the beach. Both can be reached by metro or bus.
The hostel is situated in the upper parts of the old city, made up of quiet narrow streets with little traffic.
There are a wide range of museums close to the hostel such as MACBA (The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art), MNAC (The Catalonia Museum of National Art), Palau de la Música Catalana (an impressive, modernist-style music hall).
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Directions to the hotel:
- from the airport either takes the aerobus from outside the terminal building or a train from the renfe station. The closest stop to the hostel on both the bus and the train is plaça catalunya. The last bus leaves the airport at 11:00 P.M. And the last train leaves at 10:41 P.M. The journey takes 20 to 30 minutes.
- once in plaça catalunya, take carrer pelai (next to el triangle shopping centre). Take the first street (carrer jovellanos) on the left (next to “pull & bear” clothes shop).
Follow carrer jovellanos to the first crossroads. You will see Bar-Cafe centric on the right. Hosteria grau is next door to the bar.
