All the areas of the Murmuri Hotel have been decorated by Kelly Hoppen, the well-known British interior designer who has created an intimate style, blending original features of the 19th-century Catalan Modernisme building with the most modern and sophisticated design. On the rooftop terrace you can take in the breathtaking views of Barcelona, and you can also make use of the gym, outdoor swimming pool and panoramic terrace of the nearby sister property, the Hotel Majestic.

ROOM INFORMATION
The 53 cosy rooms with an avant-garde style are decorated with good taste and sensitivity in the details, with friendly pastel colours, underlined by a play of indirect lights. The contemporary furniture in contrast has a coarser touch with dark-brown wood.
All rooms are totally soundproof and equipped with air-conditioning and central heating. For your comfort we offer you, besides the listed facilities, flat-screen TV with international channels, Wi-Fi internet and some innovative conveniences like our special feature for you: an iPod dock station.
Our bathrooms with stone surfaces are equipped with shower or bath and, among other facilities, make up mirrors and luxury "Molton Brown" toiletries.
Adjoining rooms with connecting doors, ideal for families. Most of the rooms have a balcony or a covered one. Babycots available on request.

You are invited on a journey to the culinary experience of the eastern world. Our cosmopolitan chef has created a fusion cuisine style with the best of the Mediterranean and the tasty Thai flavours.
Kelly Hoppen has created a unique style that captures the spirit of the East while combining the functionality of the West, in a luxurious design.
The full buffet breakfast is served in Murmuri Restaurant. For lunch and dinner we propose a special à la carte service.
Marfil Bar by Murmuri:
The Marfil Bar & Terrace, located in the hotel lobby, has a dining facility and a large terrace on Rambla Catalunya in the summer.
This meeting point with a stylish atmosphere invites you also to take a snack accompanied by a glass of cava or a cocktail in the evening.
AREA INFORMATION
From the hotel you can easily visit a number of emblematic sites on foot; including Las Ramblas, la Avenida Diagonal or La Sagrada Familia. Only a few metres away from the hotel you can also enjoy the Catalán modernism of La Pedrera or Casa Batlló.
Shopping is a pleasure in this part of the city, with a great variety of shops and bars, restaurants and terraces from which to choose.
This hotel is well-connected with the metro (Line 3 and 5, Diagonal stop) and with buses that stop all along Passeig de Gracia.

From Barcelona airport (El Prat)
By Train:
There is a commuter train from Terminal A at the airport taking you directly to the city centre.
The trains run every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 20 minutes. The nearest station is Passeig de Gràcia, 200 metres from the hotel.
By Taxi:
Taxis are available throughout the day at all the terminals, the journey takes about 30-35 minutes and costs about EUR 25.
By Car:
- From the airport take the C32 motorway towards Barcelona.
- After 6 km take exit 11 Diagonal towards Les Corts. Continue on Avenguda Diagonal.
- After 4 km turn right at Rambla de Catalunya. 300 meters further, on the left corner, you will find the hotel.
